Verification standards
Every member provides the checks below and is reviewed by our team before they can swap. Most reviews are completed within two business days.
Clear personal photo
A clear, recent photo showing your face. Business logos, treatment images and generic pictures cannot be used as your profile photo. Save your logo for your gallery photos.
Professional beauty qualification
A certificate, diploma or trade qualification for the treatments you offer. If the name differs from your ID, for example after a name change, our team reviews it manually.
Ongoing standards
Reviews, response rates and reported issues are monitored. Badges can be paused if standards slip.
Your documents and privacy
- We never ask for government ID. We only ask for a clear photo of you and your beauty qualification.
- Your qualification document is stored privately and is only seen by our review team.
- When you upload it, we automatically check it has not already been used on another account. This is a private fingerprint check; nobody else sees your document.
- It is never shown on your profile or to other members. Members only see your Verified badge.
- You can ask us to remove your documents at any time through our contact page. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
